The Dufour Classic 30 was designed for Dufour
by Olivier Poncin and J & J Designs in 1996, and was one
of several 'Classic' models introduced that year. The 30 was
the smallest of this range, and initially they were built,
as with this yacht, with an open-plan saloon, with two raised
berths forward of the main saloon settees and table. Later
an option of a smaller seating area, with a forward bulkhead
and enclosed forecabin was offered as an alternative layout.
The boat continued in production until 2003
Three different keels were fitted, all iron bulbed fins, altough
not all keel options were made available at all times during
the production run
