The She 36 is an Sparkman and Stephens design from the late 70's - they are very fast, very seaworthy cruiser-racers with impeccable handling - an absolute pleasure to sail. The fact that they are pretty as well is the icing on the cake. They bear a considerable resemblance to the Swan 36, also a Sparkman and Stephens design from the same period.

The She 36 is one of the best designs of Olin Stevens, powerful and secure in heavy weather yet easy to handle. "TangaLanga" has spent most of her life (from 1979) in Trinidad, where she was known as a formidable racer. The present owner has normally sailed her single handed around Brittany and Biscay with ease over the last seven years.

Everyone remembers Contessa 32s as ultra-seaworthy, because several of them completed the infamous 1979 Fastnet Race. A She 36 did not just survive the race, but picked up the crew of another yacht in a dramatic rescue.
