Despite the current financial climate remaining uncertain, and the fact that new boat sales are struggling, the used boat market is still reasonably active, particularly in the 35-45 ft size range. Good used boats are selling, perhaps because customers are seeing savings accounts earning virtually no interest, and they would prefer to spend the money on an asset that will give them pleasure.

We have recently been asked by clients to find yachts of the following types:

A really good Sadler 34 - one just sold, and a disappointed second buyer

Catalac 8M or 9M or Prout cat similar size - must have twin diesels

Hallberg-Rassy 342

We are often asked for 30-35 ft plus bilge-keeled yachts, and rarely have enough choice to offer!

We are also very keen to take on more modern fin-keel sailing cruisers from 32 feet upwards
