Yachting France were
a major boatbuilder during the 1970s and early 80s -
for a while being the second biggest yacht builder in
France after Beneteau. They produced a number of small
cruiser-racers as well as motor-sailers under the Jouet
brand name. Interiors were often described as bland,
but at least they avoided the garish finishes of some
contemporary French boats.
The company closed in the early 1990s,
and it is now difficult to trace details and specifications
of many of the yachts they built |
