The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 32i is a modern cruising yacht with good performance and an excellent aft cabin. This 2008 model was bought by the present owner in France in 2018 and brought to England in 2019 (ie before Brexit). She thus retains her VAT paid status in the UK. This is a quite lightly used yacht, with a good inventory including a barely used Code 0 gennaker and a feathering prop. The hull is coppercoated. She is for sale now only because of health issues.

Designed by Philippe Briand and built from 2005 to 2008, the Sun Odyssey 32i was in around 2005 the replacement model for the long-running and popular Sun Odyssey 32. The Sun Odyssey 32i hull appears identical to that of the Sun Fast 32i which was aimed at those looking for club racing as well as cruising. The main differences were in deck gear and sails. The Sun Odyssey 32 and 32i are in fact very similar. In 2008 the 32i was replaced by the 33i, which whilst looking at first glance quite similar, had some substantial changes in hull construction methods, clearly to save build costs.
The Sun Odyssey 32i was offered with a choice of "deep keel", "shallow keel" or "lifting keel" versions, and with the choice of tiller or wheel steering, tiller being arguably better in a yacht of this size. This yacht is a shallow fin keel version with tiller steering. The shallow fin keel has slightly higher ballast than the deep keel version to retain similar stability. The design is RCD Cat 'B' for six persons.
